Seasonal and year-round job postings are encouraged to be advertised on the SCA job board. We want to help you find those key staff members and future leaders who are looking to spend the summer with your campers.

The SCA wants to get the word out to Saskatchewan about how amazing camp is! We love talking about our great member camps at events around our province, connecting with potential campers, future staff members, willing volunteers, supporting donors, and adventurous teachers.

Members receive discounts for SCA events, such as conferences and training opportunities. We also strive to host free workshops in areas of camping you want to grow in as camp professionals and dedicated volunteers.

The SCA Accreditation Program provides the opportunity for camps to receive their accreditation certificate, indicating their recognized efforts by the SCA for running safe summer camps and meeting industry standards in their programming, human resources, and facility. The pursuit of accreditation is voluntary beyond membership and highly encouraged for all of our member camps.

The SCA is your link to the Provincial Government bringing applicable information about legislation and provincial policy to our member camps. We are also the voice of organized camping, keeping the government aware of the camp industry and the valuable work happening in our sector. To do this advocacy at a federal level, we are proudly affiliated with the Canadian Camping Association.

Along with your SCA membership, Accredited Camps can benefits from the work of the Canadian Camping Association with the opportunity to access discounts and rebates through CCA’s business partners, insurance program, federal advocacy efforts, and national and international research projects.

Accredited Camps are permitted to display the CCA logo on their websites and promotional materials. 

Camp is a valuable part of providing recreation opportunities for all Saskatchewan people. The SCA is proud to be a member of the Saskatchewan Parks & Recreation Association, bringing partnerships with Provincial Recreation Associations and Districts for Sport, Culture and Recreation through this community. These partnerships give our members access to recreation education, non-profit supports, and resource libraries relevant for camps.
