Camp is a valuable part of the learning landscape of a child. When your students leave your classroom for the summer, encourage them to try out a camp experience. HELP YOUR STUDENTS EXPERIENCE CAMP
At the SCA, we know that as teachers, you are welcomed into the lives of your students in a significant way. Because of this, you know the barriers, the needs, and the stirring interests of your students. When you consider the value of camp – the adventure of being outside, the excitement of trying new activities, and the accomplishing of new goals, we hope you can picture specific individuals at camp. Many of our member camps are looking to connect with teachers in their areas who can name students who would love a chance to be at camp. Bursaries, transportation, and other supports are in place and ready to help get those kids to camp. The SCA encourages you to get in touch with our office or camps in your area and start making those connections!
